Liverpool will have to beat Inter Milan to the signing of Lazio striker Keita Balde this summer, according to reports.

Liverpool are bound to be linked with a host of players in the off season as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad ahead of a return to the Champions League next term. The same article states that Keita is a target for Liverpool but the departure of Ivan Perisic from Inter to Manchester United could give the Serie A side improved funds to sign the African. Keita scored 16 times and made three assists in 31 appearances in Serie A for Lazio last season. Liverpool signed Keita’s international team-mate Sadio Mane in a £34m deal from Southampton last summer. The Senegal star proved a big hit after a return of 15 goals and nine assists.
